"We witnessed a very clever seagull at St Ives, taking a carrier bag from the bin, up into the sky to drop it intentionally, so it opened, they will take food from children in prams or anyone who is unaware of this problem, take heed, please do not feed the Seagulls."

British Landscape artist of the year competition 2015
Trelissick wild card heat, What an extremely wet & windy day, there was easels falling down everywhere, 2nd place out of 40 international artists.
It was a very close competition, as the finalist and I were both asked several leading questions at the end i.e: had I been there before? do I think I have an advantage over the other artists being from Cornwall? I answered truthfully, silly me!
Considering my baby was 3 months old, I am very proud of this painting, it currently hangs above my fireplace at home.
I did have nice chat with Frank Skinner along with the winner and was briefly on sky arts September 2016.
'Cornwall Open Studios', I currently host Tidalmarks Open Studio independently.
